This will be an action-packed 8 week course with quick introductions to many different beadmaking shapes and techniques.

We start with a basic round bead and move on to colour mixing and uses of frit. We cover making a cone bead, bicone, square, lentil, twist, and working “organically”. We will look at dots and some dots patterns. You will make your own stringer and twisties and learn how to use them.

We go into making bubbles in dots, and twisted dots, flowers and “snail” beads. We will also spend an evening working with silver foil and silver wire in beads, as well as making your own “silvered” stringer. We will also cover large hole beads that are able to work with many of the bracelets systems if there is an interest.

We will cover how to clean your beads, and I can answer any questions you may have about starting up a set up of your own at home. Once you have completed week 1 of your course – you are welcome to come in for torch rental outside of class time to practise the techniques you have learned.

Deposit of £45 required, only refunded if we manage to fill your space.
